Fintech Contract Manager
Job Description: Large online transaction tech company located in Downtown Seattle, WA is looking to hire a hybrid schedule Contracts Manager. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for developing, negotiating, reviewing, redlining, and managing contracts for the organization. They will be specializing in arranging agreements between parties. ***This position requires CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) experience for consideration (needing emphasis on resume)*** Pay - $45/hr. - $60/hr. (depending on overall qualification and tenure following requirements below) Location - Downtown Seattle, WA Schedule - Hybrid; Tuesday - Thursday Onsite, Monday & Friday Remote Contract Duration - 6 Months to Start with Potential for Extension or Conversion to Perm Responsibility: (Preparing contracts) - Creating, planning, and updating contracts, including sales and purchase contracts. (Negotiating contracts) - Negotiating contract terms with internal and external partners, and aiming to increase profits, reduce risk, and close deals quickly. (Reviewing contracts) - Checking contracts for legal compliance and ensuring they follow federal, state, and local laws. (Managing contracts) - Ensuring both parties fulfill the terms of the agreement, and acting on any breaches. (Maintaining records) - Establishing contract records in databases, maintaining and updating files, and keeping organized records of contracts. (Communicating contracts) - Explaining terms and conditions to managers and interested parties, and interpreting complex technical language. Must Haves (Non-negotiables): ***This position requires CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) experience for consideration (needing emphasis on resume)*** + Must have 5-10 years of relevant contracts management/legal experience. + Strong ability to Redline contracts (there will be an assessment on Contracts Redlining). + Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents, financial reports, and technical documents. + CLM system configuration and maintenance experience (Ironclad experience highly preferred). + Experience pulling reports, compliance, and User Experience guidance through CLM system. + Main functions will be negotiation, repository (audit function), and Governance and Compliance. + Ability to apply arithmetic concepts such as fractions, rations, and proportions to real scenarios. + Good understanding of SOPs and occupational, safety, and environmental regulations and law. + Paralegal Certification and/or Legal Operations Lifecycle is a huge bonus but not required. Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
