The FinTech Data and Analytics Solution Architect/Developer will sit within the Enterprise IT function supporting Global Finance. It is responsible for identifying and delivering business solutions in partnership with our Corporate Tax and Information Technology colleagues. This role involves supporting our global income and indirect tax functions by leveraging advanced cloud-based solutions. You will help us shift to modern ways of working, accelerating our strategy execution to increase flexibility, speed up solution delivery, and drive significant business value.
As a leader within the IT group, you will:
Build and sustain relationships with Corporate Tax and IT colleagues to lead the delivery of business solutionsDevelop a deep understanding of the business processes, systems, and data supporting strategic processes and programs in our income tax and indirect tax areasLead the design and development of solutions across various technology platforms to meet requirementsImplement key applications to ensure alignment between business needs and solutions, in collaboration with our technology partnersEvaluate new ideas and proposed methods for practicality and ease of implementationUse an open communication style that actively acknowledges others' thoughts and opinionsIndependently solve problems that arise within job responsibilities and expectationsShare best practices, tools, and techniques within the Tax Management product lineCollaborate with vendors to ensure optimal solutions and enhance product capabilities to improve overall valueJoin agile teams and work collectively towards common goalsThrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and highly matrixed business environment
What we need:
Technical skills:
At least 5 years of technical experience in solution design and development of data and analytics solutions, including leadership roles in delivering solutionsExperience in Data Modeling/Design using cloud-based technology stacks (ex.: Databricks, Matillion, Redshift, Azure)Experience in designing and building complex reports and dashboards using leading business intelligence platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Spotfire, SAP Analytics Cloud)Experience developing reporting and analytics solutions on cloud platforms Ability to gather requirements and translate them into designExperience in working ERP financial data and systems – SAP S/4 and ECC preferredWorking knowledge of Agile Collaboration Tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc.)Experience in building solutions using data virtualization technology (Trino, SDA)Proficiency in building SQL-based procedures, table functions, and calculation views
