Fire Life Safety Coordinator

What this job involves - The Fire Life Safety Program Coordinator at JLL is responsible for coordinating and supporting fire life safety programs on the account. This role requires strong organizational skill and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. The Fire Life Safety Program Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations of fire life safety equipment and supporting the implementation of fire life safety maintenance and building safety programs.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support fire life safety programs on the account, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their fire life safety program needs, goals, and objectives.Assist in developing and implementing fire life safety maintenance and safety programs, adhering to industry standards and regulations.Coordinate with vendors and contractors for fire life safety maintenance, repairs, and project execution.Track and maintain fire life safety documentation, including fire life safety drawings, manuals, and maintenance schedules.Assist in the scheduling and coordination of preventive maintenance activities to ensure effective and efficient operations.Support the implementation of safety protocols and inspections for fire life safety systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.Foster positive working relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fire life safety systems and maintenance.Verify accuracy and integrity of fire life safety-related data and documentation, ensuring appropriate controls and reporting mechanisms are in place.Provide support to the fire life safety team and stakeholders, serving as a resource and assisting in project coordination as needed.Coordinate and support the building safety program on the account, including scheduling with City regulatory agencies, responding to deficiencies and providing corrective action reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or experience in fire life safety systems are preferred.Proven experience in coordinating programs or a similar role within facilities management or systems.Technical knowledge of fire life safety systems, including fire life safety infrastructure, equipment, and controls.Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex electrical issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of real estate or property management industry is a plus.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

76,300.00 – 110,600.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
