The Role

 BGIS is looking for motivated individuals to join us as Mobile Maintenance Portable Fire Technicians. This is an exciting opportunity to work across key commercial contracts, maintaining Portable Fire Equipment like extinguishers, hose reels, and blankets while learning on the job.

This role is based in Newcastle, NSW!

You must be a citizen of Australia to apply for the role.

What You'll Do:
- Perform routine inspections and servicing of Portable Fire systems and equipment.
- Learn to install and maintain fire safety equipment in line with Australian Standards (AS1851-2012).
- Assist in preparing customer quotes and identifying necessary remedial work.
- Build your understanding of fire safety systems and standards in a real-world environment.

What We're Looking For:
- A White Card (or willingness to obtain one).
- A valid Driver's License.
- FPAS accreditation is great but not required - we'll train you!
- A keen interest in fire safety and a willingness to learn.
- Australian Citizenship (required for security clearance).
