What does the role involve?As a Fire Protection Consultant, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities focused on promoting and supporting passive firestop technologies. Here’s a detailed breakdown of your role based on the points provided:
1. Build Technical and Functional Capability:
Enhance the skills and knowledge of the Market Organization (MO) Engineering and Sales teams regarding passive firestop technology.
Aim for sustainable and profitable growth in the area of passive firestop technology.
2. Market Strategy Development:
Develop, coordinate, and implement strategies to penetrate the market in line with the company's overarching strategy.
Focus on specific coverage areas to ensure targeted and effective market penetration.
3. Client and Project Engagement:
Identify and develop plans to engage with clients and consultants at all levels of a project.
Influence stakeholders to promote the adoption and growth of passive firestop technologies.
Build relationships and develop strategies to increase market share and profitability.
4. Collaboration with Specialty Contractors:
Work closely with Hilti Accredited Firestop Specialty Contractors (HAFSC) to promote their differentiated services.
Support the installation process and ensure the high-quality application of firestop products.
5. Project Targeting and Sales Leadership:
Lead and manage sales and engineering teams to focus on and drive key projects.
Ensure these projects are targeted effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
6. Autonomous Planning and Execution:
Operate independently, creating your own plans and tasks to meet set targets.
Exhibit a high level of self-motivation and drive to achieve goals.
7. High-Level Value Proposition:
Understand and communicate the high-level system selling value proposition.
Promote not just the product, but the comprehensive solution it provides.

Educational Qualification: B. Tech degree in relevant Technical Field (e.g. Structural/Civil engineering, or similar) Experience: 6 - 10 years in field engineering or related roles. Strong understanding of the construction industry, specifically in passive fire. Commercial profile with relevant experience in Engineering and Sales with proven commercial acumen Strong communication and interpersonal skill
