Role description:

 Carry out a range of activities to support the development and implementation of engineering solutions Typically assigned to provide a substantial technical role for single discipline on smaller, less complex tasks or elements of larger, less complex tasks within a project Would not ordinarily act in a Task Management role

Role accountabilities:

Manage the delivery of elements of projects in accordance with Arcadis management systems to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets Work to ensure maximum performance and proactively work with the team members in Arcadis GECs and other Arcadis regions  Promote the culture of the business and work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution Plan assigned work and allocate work to ensure timely delivery and effective utilization of resources and monitor the performance of juniors Operate as an experienced, competent professional in a single  area of work with minimal supervision Build an understanding of the design of multiple elements of a project Develop effective working relationships with other disciplines and senior staff in Arcadis GECs and other Arcadis offices to ensure that there is effective communication of progress and changes, as well as the resolution of issues Check and verify that quality requirements have been achieved in accordance with Arcadis system Able to guide and provide technical advice to junior team members, to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to discuss ideas and plan competently Maintain a sound theoretical approach to the application of  technology in engineering practice Able to input into discussions around identifying, reviewing and selecting techniques, procedures and methods to undertake engineering tasks Capable of contributing to the design and development of engineering solutions Have advanced proficiency with relevant desktop applications including the ability to use a range of computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems and presenting results Possess excellent time management skills consistently demonstrated through performance on projects Experience performing work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with limited supervision

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent and formally licensed to act as a professional engineer (if required in their Arcadis GEC country)  Possess 3-10 years of relevant professional experience
