The Fire Protection Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire suppression systems and fire alarms. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in fire safety standards and regulations to ensure the highest level of protection for our clients. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct thorough inspections and tests of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes. + Identify and address any deficiencies or potential hazards in fire protection systems. + Document inspection results, including discrepancies and corrective actions, in detailed reports. + Coordinate with technicians and service teams to perform necessary repairs or maintenance. + Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance service quality. + Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on improving fire safety measures. + Assist in fire safety audits and prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies. + Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or formal training in fire safety or a related field preferred. + Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in fire protection inspection, particularly with sprinkler and fire alarm systems. + In-depth knowledge of NFPA standards, local fire codes, and fire protection system components. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying issues and implementing solutions. + Proficiency in using inspection and reporting software, as well as standard office applications. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. + Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various client sites as needed.
