Position Summary

In your role as a Fire Protection Senior Engineer you'll lead the design and development of comprehensive fire protection systems-including alarms, sprinklers, VESDA, MNS, and ERRCS-for both retrofit and greenfield semiconductor projects. You'll be responsible to ensure all engineering deliverables meet NFPA, IBC, and local code requirements.

In addition, you will provide rigorous technical oversight, uphold design integrity, and verify that all vendor, consultant, and EOR deliverables meet stringent code, safety, and performance standards. By identifying design gaps early, this role mitigates risk, curtails change‑order costs, and guarantees projects fully comply with owner requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be responsible for?

Leading the design and development of fire alarm, fire sprinkler, VESDA, MNS and ERRCS systems for both retrofit and greenfield projects.

Preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, hydraulic calculations, design packages, and technical specifications in accordance with specifications and code requirements.

Performing detailed code analyses to ensure full compliance with NFPA, IBC codes and local applicable regulations.

Evaluating and validating engineering deliverables from EOR firms and specialty systems vendors.

Ensuring all system meet safety, performance, and constructability requirements for semiconductor facilities.

Coordinating and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders including AHJs, third party designers, contractors and equipment suppliers.

Providing technical clarification, support design workshops, design reviews and communicate clearly engineering decisions in a multicultural environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

Bachelor degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

6-8 years of professional experience in the design of fire protection and life safety systems.

Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes, IBC, FM global requirements, UL standards, and other applicable US fire protection regulations. - Demonstrated experience with retrofit and greenfield industrial or high-tech facility projects.

Ability to perform and review engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications and technical narratives.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary project environment.

Familiarity with tools such AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms. - PE, PMP certifications are advantageous.

The current base salary range for this role is between $94,260 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
