What will you do?
The Fire Protection Supervisor is responsible for all fire protection production activities under the supervision of the plant manager. The supervisor is responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient supervision and operation of this department. The supervisor also assists in monitoring production performance to ensure that company production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily supervision and the monitoring of work of staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of fire protection site operations
Implement measures to improve production methods
Work with, supervise, and train employees to handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders and fill cylinders by pressure and weight, per regulations and standards
Carry out operational activity including preparing, filling, picking, and dispatching cylinders, as well as working in the recovery process so that we are available to fulfill customer orders
Understand hazards of various gases; sizes, and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks
Demonstrate the ability to be a safety leader by fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring a safe work environment with a commitment to zero injuries, emissions, and leaks
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and support 5S and lean projects
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 years of Gas Processing Plant Supervisor experience
DOT certification or must be obtained within 1 year
Forklift, overhead crane, and clamp operation experience or ability to become certified within 60 days
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools
Functional computer skills
EPA 608 Universal Certificate or must be able to obtain within 6 months
Physical Demand Requirements:
Frequently pushes, pulls, moves, and lifts up to 50 pounds independently
Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers
Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day
Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and some exposure to outdoor weather conditions
