Fire & Security Technical Team Lead
Position Summary: As the Fire & Security Technical Team Lead, you will oversee and lead a team of technical professionals in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire and security systems. Your role will involve ensuring the highest quality standards, adhering to safety regulations, and providing exceptional technical support to our clients. You will also play a key role in training and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of fire and security technicians, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems, security systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all installations, services, and inspections.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Provide technical support and expertise to team members and clients.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in fire and security system installation and maintenance.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, security systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, NFPA) are a plus.
Work Environment:
Combination of office and field work.
May require occasional travel to client sites.
