Full job description:Fire Watchers
Job Tasks/DescriptionSafety is a priority; employee must understand construction risks and bring them to the attention of their supervisorWatching for fire hazards in the workplace while work is performed by other employees.Keeping flammable materials away from ignition sourcesExtinguishing fires immediately or activating the fire alarm in the event of fire.Fire watch officers shall not leave their assigned areas except in an emergency.Notifying the correct personnel in the event of a fireFire watch officers shall be provided with a means for continuous communication with a constantly attended location.Performs other duties as assignedJob Type: Full-timeNO PER DIEMFire watch Requirements:Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)Quality minded, positive team player, safety conscious and production focused.Excellent communication skills
