We are currently seeking to grow our engineering team dedicated to developing our next generation products in our Research and Development (R&D) department located in Sibiu.

In Sibiu, the activity will take place at SIMEA, for the Smart Infrastructure, Electrical Products team.

Requirements

Strong skills in C and C++ firmware development and debuggingStrong skills in testing and optimizationModbus TCP/IP and RTU experienceGood analytical skillsFluency in Romanian and English in spoken and writtenAbility to work in a team environment and provide cross-project support

Responsibilities

Analyzing and implementing new requirementsElaborating firmware architectural specificationsFirmware development in C and C++ for embedded systems in the industrial fieldEmbedded software debugging and code base maintenanceDocumentation for support and productionHardware and test team supportSystem integration support

Nice to have

Experience in the field of FW for safety engineeringKnowledge on electronics and the ability to understand schematicsKnowledge on ARM based MCUsKnowledge on CAN, PROFIBUS and PROFINET communication and other industrial protocolsGood knowledge of OOP principlesExperience in teams performing complete product development projects (hardware, firmware, testing)
