Job Description

Innovative Product Development: Design new products for global markets and enhance existing thermal productsBe part of a highly collaborative agile team delivering state-of-the-art digital solutionsWork under the guidance of embedded firmware developers, engaging in the full firmware software development lifecycle, including:Refining software requirements with Product ManagementImplementing requirements in embedded firmware code using Rust, C, or C++Debugging firmware with appropriate techniques and toolsParticipating in peer code reviews to ensure best practices, bug detection, and continuous quality improvementTroubleshooting embedded firmware and hardware interactions using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etcTesting code through unit tests, automated test systems, and manual testingCreating technical documentation for both internal and external useUsing GitLab, Jira, and Microsoft Teams to collaborate with team members

Must-Have:

Ideally, over 5 years of experience coding in embedded Rust or C/C++ for embedded systems.Proficiency in reading and interpreting data sheets and electronic schematics.Strong skills in electronics troubleshooting and embedded debugging, with expertise in using tools like JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and digital multimeters.Experience in multi-threaded and multi-tasking programming.Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Nice to Haves:

Knowledge of communication protocols such as RS-232, RS-485, IP, Modbus, or CAN bus.Experience with bare metal programming and board bring-up.Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), FreeRTOS, ARM, ESP32, and understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.Experience with Linux development, including kernel development, U-boot, Snaps, or SnapCraft.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
