CCS Group's Simulation team in Pune is focused on developing bleeding edge simulation solutions for our datacenter SoC. The Simulation team based in Pune is part of larger Software development organization.
What You Can Expect
ResponsibilitySimulation development group develops deterministic, functional, system-level SoC simulator which includes processor cores (ARM/RISC-V/etc.) and all hardware registers and actions. The purpose of the simulator is to accelerate firmware development and enhance firmware testing. The System Simulation engineer will architect, design, and oversee the development of such a system simulator. You will be working closely with SoC designers, firmware architects, firmware developers, and test engineers to gather requirements for the system behaviors to be modeled in the simulator.Architect and design the simulator for Marvell's SoCIdentify and document requirements for the functional simulation models.Design and develop SoC IP functional models at the register level.Design and develop models of various NAND flash memories.Mentor simulator developers.Participate in design and code reviews.Evangelize simulator usage in the organization. Conduct user training.What We're Looking For
Master's/Bachelor’s/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields, and 3-8 years of related professional experience.Strong experience in programming in C/C++Experience in Hardware Abstraction Layer development or similar Hardware touching feature development.Experience in developing and using simulators.Hands-on experience debugging using interactive debuggers, in-circuit emulators, JTAG debuggers, ETM, etc.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in SSD firmware development.Knowledge of NVMe, ONFI and TOGGLE protocols.Python programming experience.Synopsys Virtualizer, QEMU or Wind River SIMICS based model development experience.Modeling experience using System C/C++/DML.Additional Compensation and Benefit Elements
