Firmware Engineer Opportunity!! Job Description We are seeking a talented Firmware Engineer who can work semi-independently, learn quickly, and solve problems effectively. The ideal candidate will play the role of an architect, making major design decisions and implementing complex control algorithms. This position is perfect for an experienced engineer with low-level C coding for bare metal architecture. Responsibilities + Make major design decisions and play the role of an architect. + Implement low-level C coding for bare metal architecture, including custom round-robin, interrupts, configuring IO registers, and time-critical control loops at 10 msec and 1 msec. + Implement control loops ranging from basic PID to more complex control algorithms. + Read hardware schematics and debug embedded software on the hardware using debuggers, oscilloscopes, function generators, DMM, etc. Essential Skills + At least 3 to 5 years of experience in firmware or embedded software engineering. + Expertise in low-level C coding for bare metal architecture. + Experience in implementing control loops for basic PID and more complex control algorithms. + Ability to read hardware schematics and debug embedded software using relevant tools. + Electrical Engineering (EE) degree. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience modeling control algorithms. Work Environment This position can be remote or based in the preferred locations. The work involves using various tools such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, function generators, and DMM to debug embedded software on the hardware.
