The DigitalRF DSP Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software systems that process digital signals for intelligence and military purposes. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of signal processing techniques and algorithms, networking, packets and be familiar with the latest hardware and software tools used in Linux SW & DSP (e.g. Vivado) development. The role requires a strong team player who can work closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and other software developers to bring innovative solutions to the intelligence, military, and defense sectors.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Responsibilities:
This role will also support integration, test, and verification in the final productsAnalyze, design, simulate, and implement algorithms in hardware descriptor languages (VHDL, Verilog) and/or in C++ based on customer requirements and/or MATLAB model(s)Implement and validate signal processing concepts such as FFTs, channelizers, digital filters, digital modulation, digital down/up-conversion, adaptive processing, etcCollaborate with a multi-disciplined design team (electrical engineers, systems engineers and scientists) to design and integrate challenging DSP FPGA designs and RF sensor systemsCollaborate with a multi-disciplined design team to design and integrate DSP applications for latest System on a Chip (SoC) implementations such as Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+, Intel Stratix-10, and Xilinx RFSoC, VersalImplement solutions that interface with hardware and SW systems (FPGAs, GPUs, GPPs) Contribute to the development of processing architectures, design patterns, and engineering best practicesParticipate in code reviews, testing, and debugging efforts as part of a collaborative team environmentDevelop and maintain requirements documents, functional specification documents, interface control documents, etcDevelop project test plans and test procedures, provide test planning support, and assist in the execution of both lab testing and field testingQualifications You Must Have:

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
