Firmwide Strategy - Hong Kong - 2025 ReEntry Program

The ReEntry program offers experienced professionals, who are currently on an extended career break of at least two years, the support and resources needed to relaunch their careers. The program spans over 30 locations worldwide. 

The ReEntry Program is a 15-week fellowship program, beginning April 22, 2025 and ending July 31, 2025  with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JPMorganChase at the end of the program. The  permanent placements will be based on both business needs and candidate skill set.

The APAC Firmwide Strategy Group functions as an internal consulting group and works on a project basis to address topics at the top of senior management agendas. As a Vice President, you will be part of the Firmwide Strategy team based in Hong Kong, and will have the opportunity to work on many cross-Line of Business (LOB) projects, including developing international growth strategies, assessing and planning new product and market entry, and strategic business deep dives. Our focused group of professionals is composed of top performers from top strategy consulting firms, investment banks, other internal JPMorgan Chase groups, and top undergraduate and graduate programs.

Job responsibilities

Lead initiatives/projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior managers of the Commercial & Investment Bank, Asset & Wealth Management and Corporate Functions Lead teams of 1-3 junior strategists to develop solutions in partnership with business leaders Develop “trusted advisor” relationships with multiple senior stakeholders Gather, synthesize, and creatively analyze data (e.g., financial modeling, valuation analysis) to provide insights, identify issues and arrive at recommendations Work collaboratively with team members across LOBs and staff areas Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences Monitor industry trends and shares insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executives Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 7 years of experience in either a premier management consulting firm, with at least 1 year as a Manager/Engagement Manager/Project Leader, or in an investment banking division (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research), with at least 2 years as a Vice President Diverse strategic problem solving experience, such as leading multiple CEO/CFO level programs across the financial services sector An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), influence senior business leaders, work well in cross-functional teams Passion to foster an environment of active feedback and continuous development

Financial Institutions Group (FIG) experience preferred
