DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTo manage the performance of an allocated warehouse department\nTo assist in actively managing the Client relationship in line with the site strategy\nAccountable for the Health & Safety practices on site, assisting in delivering the Health & Safety strategy\nEnsure the warehouse performance consistently meets the requirement of the client\nBriefing of the team before start of shift, discussing the previous shifts performance and allocating tasks to be carried out within the next 12hrs\n\n

\n\nPrevious and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader required\nComprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices\nComputer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages\nExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports\n\n
