Responsibilities Purpose of the position: This position reports to the Business Director FR&MiliPol, EMEA and is responsible for management of the sales team in Central European Region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland) and implementation of growth initiatives for the First Responder Sales Segment in line with the strategic goals of MSA in EMEA. It will be required that the person in this position leads sales team in the assigned geography and works closely with the rest of the regional sales leaders and other functional managers to develop and grow First Responder sales through effective channels, implement common processes, tools and programs, and to better capitalize on resources in the assigned area in order to improve financial results. Major responsibilities: Manage the sales team within the assigned area in order to deliver on goals and sales targets by understanding both local market specifics and local organizational resources. Improve Core Product sales ratio by expanding customer coverage and focusing on core markets in alignment with Connected FF Sales Strategy. Organize/attend meetings with key accounts and channel partners. Cooperate with the Financial, Marketing, Logistic and HR departments to optimize the team’s performance and improve key business metrics (Cost Control, Free Cash Flow, Customer Loyalty, etc.) By providing leadership and coaching Sales Representatives in the territory Focus on teamwork and optimal utilization of resources to achieve high performance Monitor the Sales activities results on regular basis Implementing Channel Partner development programs together with Channels Manager that will increase MSA share of customer Monitor competitors to gather insight into market size and trends Understand regulatory and cultural environment Understand customer needs/drivers to improve Customer acquisition and loyalty Develop in cooperation with other customer facing functions and implement programs that will increase market share, customer coverage and product coverage within the territory assigned, while focusing efforts on Core products and products with high fitness rankings. Prioritize Business opportunities and responsibly plan how to utilize resources. Work in close cooperation with other Sales and Customer Marketing Managers in EMEA in order to capitalize on available Marketing programs and apply them in the territory Plan and implement local Demand Creation programs leading to higher MSA brand awareness and safety awareness Identify and offer to EMEA Business Director, Industry, strategic partnerships within the assigned Territory Understand local markets growth potential and MSA capability to utilize that Develop motivated and dedicated Sales Team that can set highest Safety Market standards of serving customers on local markets well aligned with MSA code of business ethics and corporate values Carefully analyzing customer and channel partner feedback (meetings, surveys, etc.) Providing coaching and understanding training/development needs of sales associates Organizing trainings and Team meetings Running an effective performance management process Leading by example and using/supporting tools for sharing market feedback, best practices and success stories Delegate effectively Qualifications Experience (required): Proven track record of growing sales and improving financial targets Previous successful technical sales experience Broad experience with and knowledge of the Safety markets and various distribution concepts Previous demonstrated leadership experience Culturally aware and able to work in a cross-cultural environment Experience working in a global company and team management Demonstrated business savviness Strong communication and presentation skills Good computer skills Native/Fluent German language skills Fluency in English Experience (preferred): 2 year experience in growing Fire service business Travel: Extensive travel required within assigned area (minimum 70%)
