Great American Financial Institution Services Division (FIS) specializes in providing risk management, fee income and product enhancement programs to vehicle lenders and lessors, commercial equipment lenders and mortgage lenders throughout the U.S. and Canada. Target clients include commercial banks, credit unions, finance companies, buy-here pay-here dealers and leasing and rental concerns. The FIS Division is currently searching for a year round intern to assist with responsibilities within the claims process. This individual will work out of the downtown Cincinnati office.
Responsibilities
Provide project and administrative support to FIS Claims staff
Manage multiple incoming documents mailboxes adding supporting documentation and vendor reports to electronic claim files
Review, enter, and pay vendor invoices within authority level
Prepare and send letters to appropriate parties
Learn and perform functions utilizing claims system, databases, and various other programs
Participate in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, pursuing degree in Business or related discipline
Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours a week during business hours, with the opportunity for additional hours during the Summer and school breaks
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Proven leadership skills through work experience (prior internship/co-ops), campus involvement, and/or extracurricular activities
Superior communication, analytical, planning, and organizing skills
Self-motivated, as the nature of the internship may have virtual aspects
