APPROXIMATE ANNUAL SALARY - $46,207.44 to $67,296.24 PAY GRADE: 27
The salary range indicated in this announcement is based on the Employee/Employer retirement compensation schedule. An employer-only option is available at a reduced salary range. Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Under immediate supervision, incumbents perform a variety of duties at the sub-journey level while receiving training for advancement to an entry-level professional class related to fiscal or business management functions in State government.
This recruitment will be used to underfill the Management Analyst 1 position in Carson City. The position will maintain and monitor the Board's fiscal and payroll projections, provide quarterly budget reports, assist the with biennial budget preparation, implement and manage the Legislative bill tracking log, and assist with legislative bill review when Legislature is in session. The incumbent will serve as the Board's primary Fiscal Manager, Payroll Clerk, HR Liaison, and Certified Contract Manager. The incumbent will supervise one Administrative Assistant II, overseeing and monitoring assigned tasks, developing and reviewing work performance standards, preparing employee evaluations, and providing in-house training. The incumbent will testify on fiscal matters during legislative sessions and other required fiscal meetings such as BOE and IFC. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of administrative support experience in the field the applicant is to be trained; OR Current enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's program offered by an accredited college or university in business or public administration, accounting, finance, or closely related field as part of the NSHE apprenticeship program; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

Individuals employed in this series will be required to meet the Special Requirements and understand the Informational Notes of the class series they are to be trained in. These will be identified at the time of recruitment.
Additional Position Criteria
This recruitment is only open to current classified employees in state service with at least six months of continuous, full-time equivalent service.
