About the PositionIn this role, you will...
Provide customer service to both external and internal customers, on behalf of the following internal customers: Planning & Development Services, Emergency Services EMS & Fire, and Public Utilities.
Daily reconcile: Refund Reports/Requests; Reconciliation of assigned programs and/or fiscal operations; Stats Log & Additional reports and systems; Reports ensuring compliance with board-approved resolutions and other documents establishing rates.
Monthly reviews of billing/invoicing, deposits, payments, and refunds, ensuring: Billing and rates are in accordance with board-approved resolutions; All supporting documentation is included; Data is redacted as required by law; Department approval is obtained before processing.
Possess the ability to identify, interpret, and implement changes as a result of new processes, legislative or regulatory requirements.
Assist/perform in other activities related to Planning & Development Service and interacts with internal and external auditors as required.
About the ScheduleWork Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (no weekends!)

About YouTo be considered for this role, you must have the following:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or other related field -WITH- a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience.
-OR- Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required work experience.
-OR- Related professional experience or certifications may substitute for the required education, at management discretion.
The ideal candidate has the following knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:

Government experience.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Ability to interpret a variety of complex instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Experience defining problems, collecting data, and drawing valid conclusions.
Physical Demands: Employees in this role must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
About Everything ElseStarting Pay Range: $53,456.00 - $55,000.00, based on experience.
