This position is responsible for providing administrative support to assigned GME Residency Programs by handling all procurement and purchasing for multiple GME programs. It provides procurement and financial administrative services, including but not limited to, ordering services, assistance with budget monitoring and input into budget development, as needed. May serve as administrative support back for Residency Program Specialist from time to time based on operational needs of assigned GME programs.

Responsibilities Manage all Pcard transactions for assigned training programs. This includes requests from the Program Coordinator and Program Director (and any faculty or trainees they approve). Must be aware of all rules and policies regarding Pcard transactions.Manage all Chrome River transactions for assigned training programs. This includes requests from the Program Coordinator and Program Director (and any faculty or trainees they approve). Must be aware of all rules and policies regarding Chrome River transactions.Manage all Virginia Procurement Portal (eVa) transactions for assigned training programs. This includes requests from Program Coordinator and Program Director (and any faculty or trainees they approve). Must be aware of all rules and policies regarding eVa.Manage all requested Banner transactions from assigned training programs. This includes requests from the Program Coordinator and the Program Director (and any faculty or trainees they approve. Must be aware of all rules and policies regarding the Banner system.Manage the GME financial transactions required of assigned training program involving other University platforms. Qualifications

Considerable experience in administration and/or office management. Some experience in an academic healthcare setting is desired.                              

Working knowledge of computer software and information systems used to make purchases. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Strong proofreading skills to include the ability to pay close attention to detail. Strong data entry skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial transactions for accuracy. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to manage files, schedules and clerical procedures.
