RESPONSIBILITIES 

Weatherford Fishing Tool Supervisors have a demanding, hands-on job that makes use of the latest technologies to deliver solutions for our clients, applying extensive  diversified knowledge and fishing best practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.

Operate a full range of open and cased hole fishing, casing exit, and well abandonment tools in the field. Supervise Fishing operations on site. Directs the rig crew during pick up, laydown and downhole operation of Fishing tools and bottom hole assembly components. Assists in planning work activities and schedules with internal manager and customer representatives on-site to ensure correct equipment is ordered, used, serviced, and maintained according to set procedures. Regularly observe equipment-operating parameters. Work with on-site client representatives regarding fishing operations. Recommendations and planning concerning scope of work at hand. Identification and communication of operational limitations and safety issues concerning fishing operations. Proficient in calculating basic oil industry volumes, pressures and forces  Conduct and participate in all JHA, Tailgate & safety meetings related to current operations to ensure work is done properly and safely Able to work effectively in a high paced environment Perform maintenance & repairs on company owned service equipment in the shop and field as required.  Accurate & thorough completion of job reports and BHA diagrams on a timely basis.  Available on a 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs.  Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.  Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.  Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.  Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. 

QUALIFICATION 

Good Fishing and downhole tools knowledge: Cased & Open Hole Fishing, Casing Exit, Wireline Fishing, P/A Well Abandonment, and Milling Operations.        Prior work experience as a driller and/or in fishing and milling operations. Supervisory skills and experience preferred. 7-8 years oilfield experience (service or drilling rig background) 2-5 years related Fishing Experience. Self-motivator, self-starter: skilled at maintaining positive working relationship with employees and customers High School diploma (or Secondary School Diploma or equivalent) as minimum. General product knowledge  Mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs  Valid Driver license Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications Good oral and written communication skills Must be able to follow instructions
