Job Description
Essential Functions
Demonstrate the proper use of exercise equipment.Work the registration desk to get new members signed up, answer phones, provide tours, file paperwork, schedule appointments, stock towels, and sell merchandise.Assist employees and others in a professional and timely manner.Conduct new member orientations.Help ensure our facility is clean and safe for members. Including cleaning weight and cardio equipment, emptying towel bins, cleaning mirrors, re-racking weights, and sweeping/vacuuming floors as needed.Maintain equipment and keep it in safe working conditions with the ability to perform minor adjustments, recognize limitations and report other repair needs.Performs other duties as requested by primary manager that do not compromise moral code of conduct or protocols set in place for member safety.Supervised PositionsNoneQualifications
Minimum Education RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum Education PreferredN/AMinimum Experience RequiredMust have a current CPR certification or receive certification within six (6) months from date of hire.Minimum Experience PreferredExperience in sport and heath fitnessGroup Fitness Certification from a nationally recognized organization.Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
