**Job Title: Fitter** **Job Description** Perform all functions in complex fit-up and be proficient in the set-up and operation of the plate forming roll machine and brake machine. **Responsibilities** + Perform fit-up operations with good quality and production time. + Qualified to weld with one basic weld procedure in FCA, SMA and one alloy as a minimum. + Proficient in all levels of fit-up with good quality and production time. + Qualified to weld with the basic weld procedures as a minimum FCA, SMA-2G, 3G and one alloy procedure. + Set-up and operate tube expanding and other production tooling. + Accurately tape O.D. of cylinders and segments using a diameter tape and measure radius/diameters to conform to code requirements. + Calculate circumferences utilizing the constant of pi 3.1416. + Operate plate or brake forming machines skillfully. + Perform fit-up operations of complex production assemblies with good quality and production time. + Qualified to weld in the basic weld procedure FCA, GMA-2G, 3G, 4G, two alloys, and 5-GTA procedure. + Set-up and operate tube expansion equipment and other related fabrication tooling with the ability to resolve problems with minimal supervision. **Essential Skills** + Blueprint reading + Reading and interpreting weld symbols and weld sizes + Reading a tape measure + Understanding the degrees in a circle + Reading fractions + Adding and subtracting fractions + Basic layout skills + Basic torch skills + Properly using a grinder **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with blueprint reading, tape measure, torch cutting, layout inspection, grinding, welding (TIG and Flux Core), and industrial welding **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive compensation with voluntary overtime available. The position will be exposed to welding smoke, grinding dust, loud noises, and hot or cold weather conditions. Shifts are from 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday (8-hour shifts) or 3:00pm - 1:30am Monday through Thursday (10-hour shifts).
