**Job Title: Production Welder/Fitter** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced production welders/fitters to join our team in a dynamic and clean manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will have a strong Mig and Fluxcore welding, with the ability to read blueprints and weld symbols. You will be responsible for welding components for railway cars, ensuring high-quality and precise work. **Responsibilities** + Perform Mig and Fluxcore welding in a production weld shop. + Weld components for railway cars using Mig and Fluxcore techniques. + Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. + Use tape measures and hand tools for fitting and fabrication. + Grind and work with structural steel and sheet metal. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 5 years of experience in production welding. + Minimum 2 years of fitting experience. + Proficiency in Mig and Fluxcore welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Tig welding. + Knowledge of fabrication and structural steel work. + Proficiency with hand tools and grinding. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a clean manufacturing environment where the temperature is always comfortable. Contractors have the option to work up to 60 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Columbia, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
