Job Description:

Salad and Go is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant who will be responsible for full-cycle fixed asset accounting with guidance from the Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will embrace challenges and be proactive in seeking out ways to improve our processes. We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and is eager to contribute to the growth and development of our fixed asset operations.

As the Fixed Asset Accountant, you will:

Review all invoices and journal entries coded to Workday Projects subledger for accuracy and appropriateness.Timely register business assets with appropriate attributes based on internal policies and procedures. Maintain asset sub ledger including transfers between locations and identifying and processing asset disposals.Gather information related to fixed assets for external auditors and tax consultants.Assist in the development and maintenance of fixed asset policies and procedures.Seek out “best practice” solutions to streamline fixed asset processes. Work with Accounting Manager to develop a workflow narrative and internal controls over fixed assets. Responsible for completion of fixed asset balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare monthly fixed assets reporting and ad-hoc reports as needed.Assist with the annual personal property tax renditions/filings.Record and maintain real and personal property tax accrual balances. Perform business licenses and permits filings.  Perform ad hoc tasks based on business needs

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferredWorkday Financials experience is a plus2+ years of relevant experience for a public or large private company requiredASC 842 accounting experience a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organizationAbility to multi-task, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel
