Job DescriptionThe Fixed Asset Tax Supervisor must have a high level understand of fixed asset accounting under US GAAP and US tax law to perform various analytics and provide requested data packages in a timely and accurate manner under the minimum supervision. This position will support the Western Digital’s (WD) Corporate tax team located in the US with fixed asset related projects through a shared service set-up. This position will report to the Fixed Assets Manager.
The role will handle various fixed assets projects including, but not limited to, the following:
For WD US Entities:Preparation of periodic data packages requested by the US tax teamPreparation and analysis of US fixed asset reportsPreparation and analysis of US Property tax reports Analysis of intercompany fixed asset transferManage the cloud implementation of fixed asset’s global tax booksAd hoc reports and assignments as required by managemenFor WD Global Entities:Review and analysis of global tax fixed asset reportsMaintain the Global Fixed Assets ledgers Analysis of intercompany fixed asset transfersOther tax analysis related to fixed assetQualificationsREQUIRED:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in AccountancyMinimum of 5 year of relevant fixed asset experience in shared services or other relevant industriesStrong technical expertise on fixed asset processAbility to communicate and work effectively with a variety of constituency including corporate tax team, auditors, business leads, corporate executives, site financeAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to adapt to changing business requirementsStrong work ethic, good judgment, initiative, well organized and attention to detailPREFERRED:
