Description Greater Hartford client is in need of an Inventory Accountant for a 12 month engagement. The Inventory Accountant will track and report on government property for our manufacturing client. This will include property additions and disposals, and associated reporting of inventory balances. Intermediate excel required, SAP experience preferred. Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. • Proven experience in the Aerospace industry is desirable. • Demonstratable expertise in Asset Inventory and Fixed Asset Inventory. • Proficient in conducting Inventory Analysis and maintaining Inventory Records. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is necessary. • Understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles. • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments. • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrates ethical behavior and business practices. • Ability to work independently and within a team for the well-coordinated execution of tasks.
