Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In the manufacturing industry, your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of accounting information by recording and verifying fixed asset transactions. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process, manage, and maintain fixed asset accounts and ledgers • Utilize accounting software systems to keep track of fixed assets • Engage in accrual accounting and other general accounting functions • Prepare and record journal entries in line with company policies • Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management • Participate in auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance • Oversee budget processes to ensure financial efficiency • Accurately track and report fixed asset depreciation • Manage capitalization of assets and maintain fixed asset management systems • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting • Experience in Auditing and Budget Processes • Knowledge of Capitalization and Fixed Asset Accounting • Proficiency in QAD and Sage FAS 123R • In-depth understanding of Fixed Asset Depreciation and Fixed Asset Ledger • Experience in Fixed asset management and maintaining Fixed Assets • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in creating Journal Entries and Journal Entry Preparation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
