As a Fixed Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for a robust and sustainable Mechanical Integrity Program in his area. Complying with all external regulations and BASF internal requirements.
As a Fixed Equipment Engineer - Port Arthur, TX, you create chemistry by...Being the main contact person for all fixed equipment topics, increasing the plant reliability and optimizing the technical cost. Providing first line technical support for fixed equipment and ensure compliance with all applicable inspection and repair codesSupporting all necessary inspections, maintenance, repairs, or design changes, ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of these assets throughout their lifecycle.Working with API codes (510 pressure vessel, 570 piping, 653 tanks, 660 exchangers, 579 fit for service, and 580 & 581 Risk base inspection) Understanding and calculating t-min for fixed equipment and piping and pressure release devises among others.Being responsible for stationary equipment used in petrochemical industries, such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and piping systems.Coordinating Reliability processes and tools. Providing Criticality analysis and Evaluation of Plant Asset Condition for his respective area.If you... Have a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.Count with at least 5 years of experience if the Petrochemical industry Are experienced working with mechanical integrity programs and fixed equipment design, inspection and maintenanceAre proficient working with SAP/PM or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.Are able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
