Title: Fixed Equipment Technology Lead
Location: St. Gabriel, LA
Salary: $99,360 – $117,250
Schedule: 9/80, 4-10s, or standard 40hr/week available
Focus: The Fixed Equipment Technology Lead will provide the technical support necessary to maintain safe and reliable operation of the Piping, Tanks, Vessels, Heat exchangers and other fixed equipment used in the plant on a daily basis. This role will work with a team of highly skilled crafts and support personnel to deliver equipment repairs and implementation of reliable solutions. In this role, the Fixed Equipment Technology Lead provides technical expertise, supplier/parts identification along with craft training which may be equipment based, or repair technique based to improve the availability and maintainability of the facility.
Fixed Equipment Technology Lead Position Responsibilities:
Act as subject matter expert for general mechanical maintenance activities including providing expertise, inspection, guidance, observation, and training for field and shop activities. Create, train on, and reinforce mechanical maintenance procedures based on best practice and EMETL guidance. Document Deficiency and Recommendation from Inspection PM data. Create Deficiency MOC’s per Oasis requirements. Assist with the creation of vessel status change reports and piping status change reports. Work with Lead API inspector to serve as Subject Matter Expert for Non-Destructive Examination selection and evaluation. Fixed Equipment Technology Lead Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Documented completion of an accredited Pipefitter or Boilermaker craft apprenticeship program or accredited vocational training certificate NCEER Certification in Pipefitter or Boilermaker craft is preferred. 10+ years work experience in a maintenance reliability role or work process role that reflects progressive responsibility and knowledge. Experience with supervision and oversight of Mechanical Maintenance crews in process or chemical plant preferred. SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge preferred. Ability to work outdoors: expectation is that a minimum of 30% of time is spent on field or shop activities. Minimum travel required (approximately 0 - 10%). This role will also participate in off-shift call duty. Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred. Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
