Fixed Income Analyst

Role Summary:

The Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for the identification, analysis and evaluation of credit exposures of the portfolios managed by the firm. He/she reports directly to the Investment Director for Fixed Income and Multi-Asset, is actively involved in the analysis of the different aspects of the sectors and companies he/she is assigned to, and must keep up-to-date with detailed key market and company information for the preparation of reports/analyses for use by the portfolio managers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the portfolio manager in analyzing investments/credits through independent research and company visits Gathering and maintenance of data from internal and external sources; maintain research library Perform valuation analysis and generates financial/statistical models Help generate investment ideas; translate fundamental and quantitative analyses into applicable investment strategies to contribute to investment performance Assist portfolio manager in monitoring and regular updating of Credit Rating scorecards Prepare periodic reports/analyses on the credits and sectors assigned and assist in the preparation of fund fact sheets Assist in sales and marketing initiatives with reports and presentation requirements Provide support in giving presentations to clients and marketing channels as needed Comply with regulatory requirements, company and group policies; maintain compliance awareness Perform F.I. counterparty analysis for the establishment and/or management of counterparty lines
