Job Responsibilities:
Swiftly review intraday exceptions to resolve trade ‘affirmation’ with counterparties and unmatched trades in the global settlement markets, and set up SSIs (Standard Settlement Instructions) to ensure timely settlement. Maintain awareness of market settlement protocols and cut-offs to ensure timely settlement. Utilize strong verbal and written skills to address high volumes of client and front office queries. Demonstrate very strong multitasking skills to manage high trade volumes, market cut-offs, and address real-time sales queries within tight deadlines. Identify and fix recurring trade breaks to increase trade STP (Straight Through Processing). Partner with onshore/local teams to identify and remediate root causes impacting STP. Drive the agenda by presenting the business case, partnering with technology, and leading to full delivery with minimal supervisory oversight.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Strong product / prematching/ settlement knowledge Strong multi tasking skills in a high pressure environment with Sales, Clients, market cut offs. Understanding of the settlement market practices and protocols Must have a strong drive for results – to enhance Trade STP clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate Attention to details and sense of ownership Great team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environment Strong problem solving, control, and project management skillsPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
