As Fixed Income Specialist, you will be responsible for the entrepreneurship and driving fixed income advisory services for Private Banking in Asia focusing on business/ sales growth and credit/ market risk management.
What will you do?
Conduct fixed income advisory and research dutiesContribute new investment ideas, carry out research and present to the team, relationship managers and clients. Draw out sound market implications and strategies from a myriad of data and information flowPrepare marketing presentations, due diligence works and relevant supporting materials as neededParticipate in the advisory process with clients and relationship managers to provide high-quality product advisory and client experienceContribute to the generation of fixed income revenue and identify potential opportunities to grow fixed income sales and AUM in various client segments for both SG and HKEngage in price and liquidity discovery in fixed income Over-The-Counter (OTC) marketManage and improve the desk infrastructure, including tools for clients profiling, portfolio monitoring, investment databases, and research materialsAd hoc involvement in various projects for platform initiatives and enhancementWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Degree or equivalent is requiredThe role would typically require 5 years of experience with fixed income in an advisory roleFixed income and investment market experience, with a focus on Asia credit and European financialsStrong knowledge in regulatory and suitability requirements for fixed income productsCredit risk managementExcellent communication skills to form effective partnerships with various stakeholders and provide high-quality advisory services to clientsAppropriate local license for advising in fixed income productsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelProficiency with Bloomberg functions and analyticsExhibit attention to details in complex analytical and marketing-related functionsDemonstrate responsiveness, efficiency and resolve in addressing time-sensitive mattersNice-to-have
