What you’ll do

•    Assume E2E responsibility of the Fixed Networks within Vodafone Turkey which includes;
o    FTTx, xDSL, Docsis architecture
o    Understanding of various IP Fundamentals and Protocols (PPPoE, IPoE, BGP, MPLS, L3VPN)
o    HLD/LLD level work on various nodes such as BRAS, Core routers, Radius protocol, OLT/DSLAM etc.
•    Communicate and collaborate with vendors, identify areas of growth and work with the vendors & internal/external stakeholders
-    New technology trials
-    Introduction of different vendor nodes into the NW
•    Fixed NW Planning & Rollout Tracking
-    Assuming responsibility of some or all fixed nodes ensuring capacity planning
-    Making sure no link gets congested and planning accordingly for capacity upgrades
-    MOP preparations for the upgrades
•    Making sure that our fixed network nodes are visible, measurable and customers experience is satisfied.
-    KPI tracking, identifiying when issues arise and driving action
-    Improve overall tracking of the networks and work on understanding the needs of the customers. Driving change from KPIs to KQIs with relevant teams.

Who you are

•    University degree in computer engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering or related disciplines from a reputable university
•    Knowledge about IP connectivity and protocols
•    Basic Knowledge about OSI Layer Protocols
•    In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols; specifically BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP and ISIS.
•    Solid knowledge of IP technology and of Fixed networks requirements and characteristics.
•    Understanding of fundamental network services like DHCP, DNS, NTP, TFTP, FTP, Telnet, SSH, HTTP(S),
•    Knowledge about Access technology and terminology about OLT, ONT, DSLAM, FTTX, GPON, XGSPON, xDSL, CPE, AP, MESH, ACS server,
•    Outstanding ability in analysis / Problem Solving with data
•    Strong team-working and cooperation skills to evolve the business
•    Good level of English
