How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As the direct interface between Airgas, our dealership networks, & funding institutions this role will help to validate accurate invoicing for new assets, & facilitate the completion of funding/ownership transfers for those assets. Oversee the storage & management of ownership documents (titles) for owned assets. As business acquisitions are completed this role will collect & process the documentation required to properly transition ownership of acquired assets. Support the field with various requests related to vehicle registration or permitting compliance. Interface directly with third party registration agents and third party administration teams to ensure accurate records are maintained/completed. This is a key role to ensuring smooth operation of the fleet from time of vehicle purchase through time of vehicle sale.

JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

New vehicle (trailer, truck, forklift) invoice audit and funding processing

Review invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies with vendor

Submit invoices to appropriate team for payment

Report monthly funding detail to treasury team

Initiate new vehicle title and registration process

Manage stock asset (tube trailer chassis pool) funding and accounting reports

Title processing

Manage filing and storage of owned asset titles

Facilitate leased title management between states and leasing companies

Process buyout titles monthly for ownership change

Manage and prepare titles for sold assets

Assist with lien releases, missing, or incorrect titles

Obtain and process title work for acquisition vehicles

Miscellaneous

POC for third party title and registration company

Assist field with requesting replacement VIN plates

Assist Fleet team with IFTA and IRP compliance reporting

Assist PTG with completion of third party vendor credit applications

Process mail distribution between fleet team members and PTG

Assist National fleet team members with projects as necessary

Other duties may be assigned.

Required Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Required Length & Type of Experience:

Three years experience in an office management setting 

Experience with state DMV, title, registration, and permit processing desired, but not required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions

Strong Organizational skills and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks

Ability to review processes for efficiency and make adjustments as necessary (including potential process automation)

Ability to troubleshoot, communicate effectively, multitask, be flexible and prioritizeAttention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly

Comfort with changing priorities and a dynamic work environment.

Proficient with Google office suite (or similar spreadsheet, email, word processing software) required
