Job Description

Primo Brands are committed to ensuring efficient and effective fleet operations. We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator (Fleet Administrator) to manage and optimize our fleet activities.

 

Factory Location: Poland, ME
Brand Name: Poland Spring
Compensation: $24.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Full-Time, 1st Shift, Day Shift

Skills Required
– Create purchase orders to facilitate water delivery from company spring sites to factories
– Oversee departmental purchasing, including processing invoices and tracking payments
– Create and distribute Bills of Lading to drivers and outside carriers
– Handle month-end closing of open purchase orders and Bills of Ladings
– Review and file DVIR reports, BOL, and fuel receipts daily, ensuring compliance with DOT requirements
– Prepare monthly fuel tax reports by state of operation to meet federal reporting requirements
– Manage department fuel purchase cards and ensure accurate, timely entry, processing, and payment of invoices
– Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date department Key Performance Indicator (KPI) records to ensure accurate tracking of performance metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
– Review and confirm carrier accessorial requests of additional charges/fees added to standard transportation rates such as: loading or unloading, detention (waiting time), liftgate service, inside delivery, fuel surcharges, and special handling or equipment
– Verify carrier requests are legitimate, accurate, and in compliance with the terms of the contract or agreement.
– Research and resolve freight payment discrepancies with carriers to ensure timely and accurate settlements
– Provide support to the scheduling department as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations
– Other duties as assigned by Fleet Operations team

Qualifications

Key Qualifications
– High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; college degree preferred
– Preferred one year experience in a high volume Logistics/Private Fleet environment.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel), SAP experience preferred
– Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively
– Flexibility and a team-oriented attitude
