Fleet Banking Coordinator

Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the accuracy of Avis Budget Group’s sales deletion records for dealer direct/auction sale transactions in the de-fleeting process. Utilize research and analytical skills to monitor department deletions in a timely manner. This associate is responsible for daily deletion audit to reconcile automated data products to resolve exceptions and remove obstacles to successful completion of deletions process. Communicate with various ABG Department to maintain a high output of accurate and quality work. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.

What you’ll do:

Daily deletion audit of all vehicle salesResearch and reconcile incoming funds against salesWritten and verbal communicationKnowledge of company systems & MS programmingCritical thinkingMaintain and backup department databaseOrganizationProvide backup for other team members tasksGenerate daily reporting for dealer direct & auction sale for deletionsBuild VIN detail report for funded vehicles to generate deletionProcess daily dealer & Auction sale transmissionImitate 600-1000 individual vehicle sales deletions through wizard systemManage incoming bill of sale from over 3000 dealers and auctions from across the USResearch & resolve 200-300 daily deletions exceptionReconcile payments received against invoices for purchased vehicles of 20 million plus dollars per dayResearch & resolve open cash exceptionsCoordinate with banking team to resole funding disputes to complete vehicle deletionsCommunicate with Avis sales team, dealers, and auction house to resolve VIN deletion error exceptionsUtilize critical thinking skills to resolve high level deletion exceptionsAnalyze deletion discrepancies in asset documents and/or processes for solutionWork with various department within Avis to resolve 200-400 open movement exceptionsGenerate unwind/arbitration report for sales reversalCommunicate with Avis sales team on deletion questions & exceptions through ZendeskPerform multiple tasks to achieve deletions deadlinesMaintain and backup department databasesPerform multiple tasks provided by supervisor and or team lead to assist with meeting sales goalsCross train in other departments functions and be prepared to stand in for other roles as necessaryOther duties as needed to meet business and customer needs

What we’re looking for:

High School Diploma required/GED

Excellent PC skills (MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook) some macro knowledge preferred

3-5 years data entry experience, established customer service skills preferred

Minimum 2 years banking, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable experience

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and decision making skills

Maintain professional and courteous relationship with internal and external customers and expand business contacts

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented work environment

Excellent record keeping skills

Ability to learn internal systems and databases quickly and manage company documents appropriately

Bring transparency and visibility to outstanding issues for resolution

Skilled usage of business machines - PC, printer, scanner, phone, fax, copier, etc.

Background check and fingerprinting may be required for DMV online processing/supervision
