Fleet Clerk- Irving, Texas
The Fleet Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support for the fleet team and its customers so the operation maintains regulatory compliance, adheres to specified accounting/financial/reporting requirements and is proactive in “crushing costs” to achieve a favorable business plan.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure on-going data integrity.Responsible for the on-going development and administration of system reports – adapting to changing business imperatives:Input and retrieval of data, creation of tables and reports for cost analysis.Fleet maintenance activities such as work orders, PM trackingMaintain fleet asset inventory database – location, technical data, registration expiration/renewals, etc.Responsible for high level analysisTrend analysisRecommendations to fleet manager based on report findingsRegion point of contact for system issues on all modules including:Capital purchasesFuel Purchase ProgramDepartment of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Permanent Fleet Registration ProgramPermits, Licensing, & Heavy Use TaxSAP fleet related requisitions / purchase ordersAnalysis of Financial SystemsCreate, run and examine financial reports, statements, and account details.Assist in correcting journal entries as required.Central contact for controlling lease equipment invoicing and transfersAssist in transition to fleet EAM program and on-going asset management system activities.Initiate SAP requisitions for capital purchases.Ensure / track purchase order routing and approvals.Coordinate payment with Accounts Payable.Ensure / track all fleet licensing, permits, insurance. Total Rewards Pay starting at $21.22 per hour.
