What you’ll do:

Assist in addressing engineering challenges and developing solutions for integrating LX with AMS Create rebuild kits, valve replacement, and gasket part numbers to automate the Bill of Materials (BOM) from Scope of Work (SOW) Introduce a foundational level of automation for BOM generation in compliance fleet engineering projects Collaborate with maintenance shops to understand their challenges and propose engineering process enhancements Work on fleet engineering projects related to compliance of railcars  Support various engineering tasks and projects as needed

What you’ll need:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Expected graduation in 2025 preferred Basic understanding of Bills of Materials and overarching knowledge of manufacturing processes Proficiency in design/manufacturing and CAD software Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and development
