Additional Compensation Details:

$110k to $150k annually Dependent on Experience and Location of RolePotential 90-day performance-based raiseYearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Responsibilities

The Role

The Fleet Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance operations of the fleet, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and safety. This role includes managing staff, coordinating repairs, maintaining records, and optimizing costs.

 

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To: 

Supervise Maintenance Operations: Manage day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure fleet safety and reliability.Staff Management: Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel; ensure adherence to company policies.Inter-Department Collaboration: Communication with transportation department to align fleet readiness with business needs. Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards.Budget Management: Monitor repair costs, approve expenses, and control inventory.Vendor Coordination: Establish relationships with suppliers for parts and service.Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.Performance Monitoring: Track fleet performance metrics and implement improvements.Process Standardization and Support: Develop and implement standardized maintenance procedures across locations, providing support to teams in other areas as needed.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

 

5 years experience in MD/HD commercial fleet maintenance or a related field.Strong leadership and communication skills.Knowledge of compliance regulations.Budgeting and cost control experience.Fleet management software experience a plus.

Supplemental Information:
