Fleet Maintenance Specialist - Night Shift/Weekend

Wednesday - Sunday 2pm - 10:30pm

**Training** is Monday - Friday 1st shift (morning 8am - 5pm)

The Fleet Maintenance Specialist plays a pivotal role in the operational integrity of the fleet. Tasked with the meticulous planning and scheduling of repairs, this individual ensures peak functionality of all equipment and systems, while adhering to budget metrics.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and utilize SWI’s (Standard Work Instructions) for fleet maintenance / repair activitiesReview and approve invoices for paymentContinually review, seek feedback, and optimize resources, parts, and techniciansUpdate and maintain the status of work orders in EAM systemProvide administrative direction to maintain project costs within budgetSupport team members to ensure responsibilities and assigned projects are completedProvide regular recommendations on future steps to improve predictive maintenance on the fleetMaintain relationships with Vendors and SuppliersKPI development for maintenance trends and spendCollaborate with key stakeholders both internal and externalTrain and/or lead Maintenance Planners

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)Associate's Degree or equivalent experience4 years’ experience in a repair coordination environment or relevant certificationKnowledge of Over the Road refrigeration unitsThorough knowledge preventative fleet maintenanceExperience with transportation management software and EAM softwareProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customersExcellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloadExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
