Transdev in Phoenix, AZ  is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to bolster our team.  As a 
Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our Fleet.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

• $22.23 - $31.22 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for our customers.Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other repairs.Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.

 

Qualifications: 

Valid driver’s license required. CDL Required - We provide company PAID training to help you obtain your CDL!1+ years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set.Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. 
• Sit for extended periods (up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable 
amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
