Starting pay at $50,300.00 DOE plus bonus

Solar Transport is searching for a Fleet Manager to oversee and manage, all day-to-day driver and service-related activities and functions for assigned geographical/terminal driver locations. The Fleet Manager will ensure all driver needs are met concerning on-time performance, error-free service, and driver satisfaction. What You'll Do: 

Oversee and manage all, day-to-day driver and service-related activities and functions for assigned geographical /terminal driver locations including but not limited to, daily planning, and dispatch and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring that all orders are dispatched and requested delivery windows are metManager the day-to-day issues, regarding service, equipment management (in conjunction with Region Manager), driver-related issues, and service deviationsWorks with Central Planning Operations Manager/Senior Fleet Manager to analyze and provide solutions for chronic problems within operation, including performance to customer expectations, efficiency concerns, and driver performanceAble to navigate Solar’s TMW dispatching software as well as multiple screens to utilize Email, customer websites, and dispatching softwareAbility to work a 12-hour shift including weekends

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred1+ yrs. experience in a Fleet Manager position at a logistics company preferredExperience in the transportation industry preferredPrevious managerial experience preferred
