Job Description

Perform preventative maintenance on a fleet of buses and mobile repair vans. Work in the garage to conduct PM tasks, as well as execute general repairs on the fleet. This includes oil changes, brake changes, hydraulic repairs on doors, electrical troubleshooting, and similar fleet maintenance work.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on buses and mobile repair vans.Conduct general repairs including oil changes, brake changes, and hydraulic door repairs.Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on fleet vehicles.Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and steering systems.Ensure all fleet maintenance is conducted in a timely and efficient manner.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshooting experience.Diagnostic experience, including automotive electrical issues.Mechanical aptitude.Experience with preventive fleet maintenance.Diesel engine repair skills.Ability to diagnose and repair transmissions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with full engine rebuilds.Basic tools up to 1 1/8\" (including multimeters, sockets, wrenches).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The facility is relatively new and clean, being only 6 years old. Most of the work will be conducted in the garage, though there may be occasional outdoor tasks depending on garage capacity.

This is a Permanent position based out of LEXINGTON, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.

$560 Tool Allowance
•\t$1,000 Sign on Bonus ($500 after training and $500 after probationary period)
•\tVacation/PTO: 1 week after a year and 2 weeks after 3rd year
