Fleet Planning Manager Generator and/or Steam Turbine
**A Snapshot of Your Day** This role in located in Orlando, FL or Charlotte NC. As a Fleet Planning Manager in the global planning team, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our global fleet of the most advanced Generators or Steam Turbines. Collaborate with global teammates for new part business and service facilities like Charlotte, Muelheim, and Fort Payne. You will collaborate with various interdisciplinary teams, including Sales, project and product management, engineering, purchasing, to make key decisions for load planning and inventory management! **How You’ll Make an Impact** + Leaddemand and inventory planning for new major components with focus of theNorth and Latin America region + Coordinatemid and long term planning and slot allocation with internal factories toensure timely availability + Drivethe optimization of forecast accuracy and a robust risk and safety stockplanning including yearly inventory budget process + Improveinventory management and ensure delivery capability and reliability forall major parts of the led fleet + Collaboratecross-functionally with internal partners, e.g. Sales, Project and ProductManagement, factories and engineering on technical or commercial mattersof major parts + Identifyand implement standard methodologies in operations, tools, and processesand encourage process synchronization across functions for global use **What You Bring** + Bachelor’sdegree in engineering or similar required with 5+ years of powergeneration experience. Strong English language skills, both spoken andwritten + Productknowledge of Generator and / or Steam turbine technology and manufacturingprocesses + Expertisein planning methodologies and project management + Basicknowledge of business administration + Experienceof IT applications used such as MS Office, SAP, PCM, etc. + Aneffective team member with excellent interpersonal skills, strong logicaland analytical thinking, and a confident, assertive approach Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
