The Fleet Program Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Tractor Supply Companies fleet vehicle program including but not limited to ordering and delivery, driver and equipment auditing, maintenance tracking and reporting, temporary rentals, as well as ensuring incident reporting procedures are completed appropriately. This role will work closely with field teams, internal teams, and external partners to ensure vehicles are maintained, driver safety compliance, and reduce program expense. The Fleet Program Manager is accountable for ensuring that fleet operations are in compliance with local and state rules and regulations as well as providing recommendations for compliance. Additionally, this role is responsible managing all operational costs of the fleet and budget compliance of these costs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Directly manage day to day operations and maintenance of 500+ vehicle fleet including vehicle ordering, delivery, maintenance, and recall management. Demonstrate sound judgment and adherence to compliance regulations such as FMCSA, DOT, IFTA, OSHA. Maintain and execute a Safety Program that also includes the benchmarks for compliance both with company programs (accident preventability analysis) and DOT requirements, Hours of Service (HOS), International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), as applicable. Maintains Registration Filings including UCR, etc. as required. Partner with internal Procurement Team to negotiate contracts with external partners related to the fleet program to reduce overall fleet program expense and drive year over year program savings. Create, deliver and analyze metric reports related to operational costs, preventative maintenance and scheduling, aging fleet vehicles, vehicle availability, and incident reporting. Manage all third-party relationships related to the fleet. Review, approve and submit for payment lease and service billings on a monthly basis. Manage daily operational needs of drivers such as training, maintenance requests/escalations, tolls, and incident reporting. Serve as the internal subject matter expert on the TSC fleet, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing operations. Manage assigned vehicle drivers both onboarding and offboarding Team Members as needed. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual budget goals. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), processes, and systems related to the fleet.Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Fleet Management as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation compliance experience and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) training.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field preferred. High School diploma required. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
