Fleet Resources Coordinator

This position involves working with all departments to facilitate, refine and improve efficiency of ambulance manufacturing and refurbishment operations by managing scheduling, time keeping, production schedule and input of labor times in our manufacturing system. Ensure all vehicles are disposed and documented. Assist with vehicle shipping and receiving. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree in a related field (preferred). One (1) years of related experience Valid Drivers License, Lean / Six Sigma Yellow Belt Ability to lift and handle heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Manual dexterity for handling small parts and components. Comfort working in various weather conditions. Extended periods of standing, bending, and reaching. Key Responsibilities: Production Schedule: Maintain production schedule from time vehicle ships to NextFleet until vehicle is shipped to its final destination. Maintain all aspects of production schedule including donors, refurb's, new chassis, NFC vehicles, remounts, new ambulances etc. Assign vehicles to builds. Assist AMR business units, national fleet maintenance, national fleet purchasing and NextFleet in scheduling of production, refurb, remount, and vehicle upfits Manufacturing Time Input: Input work hours into RTA, various spreadsheets and other systems daily to monitor billed vs. paid hours. Vehicle Disposal and Disposition: Coordinate sales, dismantling, storage and distribution of all used vehicles and parts. Accurately document all vehicle sales and disposals Notify GMR lien holds of fleet changes Administrative: Maintain and coordinate uniform purchases and rentals and other vendor supplied services. Maintain and coordinate FedEx shipping bills and monthly reporting Work with local leadership and finance develop KPI’s. Prepare and compile various KPI’s, periodic reports and documents for review and analysis. Assist with titling process including MSO’s titles, Bill of Sale, registration etc.. Perform all front office tasks Answer incoming calls and forward or take messages Greet and welcome guest Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary. Reporting: Provide reporting, analytical support and modeling to support all aspects of plant production File Management: Maintain organized paper and digital files of all relevant data for easy access and future reference. Timekeeping: Maintain and coordinate Kronos and Telestaff schedules Maintain and coordinate time keeping including daily punches, PTO, TEF’s, bereavement etc.… Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with manufacturing teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to address concerns and implement corrective actions. Customer Service: Provide superior customer service and feed back in a clear and concise manner. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production processes. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Resource Assistance: Advise leadership regarding resource needs, including equipment, tools, and materials and safety supplies to ensure efficient and effective operations.
